Roots and Roles
I am Paola K. Wong, an ArtistMedicine Women, and sacral and womb movement guide. As a mother, teacher, nurse, and plant enthusiast and daughter of the water, each aspect of identity influences how I create a nurturing space. My life's mission is deeply anchored in ceremony, song, dance and the ancestral wisdom I carry.
Womb and Song
Through sacred songs I create spaces that honor the womb portal, the portal of life. My journey has been shaped by my own healing and by blending Haitian folkloric and Afro Cuban inspired womb & sacral dance with plant medicine. These practices help me guide others back to their inner child and awaken their divine feminine energy through singing and movement. I believe this energy lives within all of us, regardless of our gender or conformity.
Ancestral Guidance
The elements of nature and the voices of my ancestors guide me as I hold spaces for empowerment, healing, and transformation. Their wisdom flows through me and helps me carry traditions that honor the cycles of life. I feel their presence in the rhythm of the drum, the sway of the dance, and the quiet moments of prayer. They remind me that healing is never done alone but always in relationship — with the earth, with spirit, and with one another. In every circle I hold, I carry their songs forward so that this wisdom continues to live and breathe in community.
Birth and Transition
As a Labor and Delivery RN and Prenatal Educator, I walk alongside women and families during life’s most profound transitions. These moments of birth, growth, and change are sacred, and I feel deeply honored to witness and support them. I hold space for the vulnerability and the strength that arise in these times, guiding with both clinical knowledge and a heart that trusts the wisdom of the body. Birth and transition are thresholds, and each one invites us to step into a new way of being. To stand beside families as they cross those thresholds is one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Ceremony and Retreat
I carry this same spirit into the retreats and ceremonies I create. From Take Me to Egypt to Healing for the Healer and the Goddess Full Moon Ceremony, my work is about weaving love, song, and movement into spaces where transformation unfolds and self love deepens. These gatherings are not simply events, they are sacred containers where people can soften, connect, and remember who they are beneath the noise of daily life. Each retreat is designed with intention so that those who come feel held, nourished, and renewed as they return to their lives carrying a little more light and ease.
